Are you in a position for a bit ranting? Cause it’s about to all come operating out of me. YIKES.
I am no longer in truth certain I must be sharing this data with you or not, but I’m feeling the ache that’s the “crunch time” of writing your first ever cookbook. SO, it’s no mystery round right right here that I adore all issues Hawaiian. Pineapple is likely my very favourite fruit in all of the land, so one thing with a candy and spicy Hawaiian BBQ sauce goes to be one thing I LOVE. These skewers are simply summer time on a stick.

A little dramatic (sorry, here’s what occurs once I write all day long…I get all slap pleased and issues simply soar flying outta my mouth)… however it be all true.
Hawaiian BBQ Skewers with Sriracha Lime Butter

hawaiian bbq skewers with sriracha honey butter.

1/2 cup of your favourite BBQ sauce
2 tablespoons pineapple juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons recent cilantro chopped
1 pound boneless skinless chook breasts or thighs cut into chew dimension chunks
2 cups recent pineapple chunks
1 red bell pepper chopped into chew sized chunks
1 orange bell pepper chopped into chew dimension chunks
1 poblano pepper chopped into chew dimension chunks
SRIRACHA HONEY BUTTER
4 tablespoons salted butter softened
1-2 tablespoons sriracha
1 tablespoon honey
zest of half a lime
Get Ingredients Powered via Chicory
To make the Hawaiian BBQ sauce, whisk collectively the BBQ sauce, pineapple juice, lime juice and cilantro in a medium dimension bowl. Now upload the chook to a gallon dimension ziplock bag or medium bowl and toss with 1/4 cup of the BBQ mixture.
Set your grill, grill pan or skillet to medium-high heat. Thread chook pieces, pineapple chunks and bell peppers together, alternating one after one other on skewers. Brush the skewers calmly with olive oil. Grill the skewers till calmly charred and cooked through, turning them occasionally during cooking, about 10 to twelve minutes total. Transfer the skewers to a plate.
Brush the skewers with sriracha butter (below) and serve with more Hawaiian BBQ sauce. EAT!
